So I got a stock 2006 BMW 530xi and I wanted to get rims for it. I'm looking at getting 19 inch rims. I'll get the tire+rim package and I just wanted your guys input on which rims I should buy.

Hi there,

I recommend looking into the Velocity motoring wheels. We can package these together with tires and are one of the better options out there for quality and affordability.

Okay well my brother is telling me that if I were to go with 19", I should lower the car as well otherwise it would look awkward. I don't think that I would be able to lower the car cause I don't really want to. Do you think it will still work with 19" rims without lowering?

You can do 19's without lowering however when you upsize the wheels, there is an optical illusion that makes the gap look bigger. This has to do with the larger wheel and thinner tire that makes the gap look bigger.
