New wheels for a E36 323ci?

I am going to be getting some new wheels pretty soon. i cant decide on a few things though. I have a 99' E36 323Ci. It is not lowered yet, but i plan on buying either lowering springs or adjustable coilvers and dropping the front an inch or two and the back just a tiny bit.

-First... My car is silver, I think I might be getting black wheels, but i would like to see some pics of a silver E36 with black wheels first.

-Second, i dont know if i should go with 17's 18's or 19's? I was thinking 18's with 8.5's in the front and 9.5 in the rear.

-Third, I cant really decide between the ASA AR1s, Beyern Mesh, or Beyern fives. Anyone have any pictures?

So far what im thinking is getting the Beyern Mesh wheels in black and in 18s, 8.5 in front and 9.5 in the rear. Anyone see anything wrong with that? Any input would be appreciated.

I really like the Beyern Mesh. They are a solid looking wheel that works well across the range. They also have a nice lip and are well priced for the quality (made by TSW).

Also... Does anyone know if beyern mesh 19's (9.5 in rear and 8.5 in front) will fit without rubbing? I would like to have the proper tires on them because i hate the stretched look.

You can do a 19x8.5 ET40 and 19x9.5 ET45 front and rear which would fit without rubbing. I recommend a 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 front and rear tire.

Ok i think i will just go with the 18s with 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 or so. I dont want my wheels to look to big for the car.

I agree, I think 18s are a better size for the E36.

I think 18's are the best size for an e36. Also if i were you i would go with black, silver looks good but i think black on the silver would look even better especially if you have tinted windows. IMO the asa ar1's look alright if they don't have the rivots. The beyern mesh look awesome IMO and i'm thinking of getting these or CSL's in black when i sell my current wheels. good luck

I'll go with the black beyern mesh 18's. My windows have 20% tint, my taillights are fully blacked out, and i have smoked side markers and turn signals, plus i am ordering a black grill and carbon fiber emblems tomorrow.

This car is sucking up more money than i had planned and i havent even started on the motor yet. haha.

It is a 99' 323i Convertible, thus the 323iC. I can take a picture of my registration if you guys would like. heh.

I don't get the craze with black rims... They are black, therefore the design of the rim is lost in darkness... especially in low light.

what about breyton wheels. It is a very good quality...... and looks really great on BMW

Depends on the wheel but they are solid and great looking wheels. They tend to be on the heavy side however.
