so i was driveing this morning and the steering wheel got stiff when i turned into my girlfriends driveway and then got smooth again and grabbed and let go grabbed and let go and idk what it is, do i have to change the fluid, are the lines clogged idk please help thanks

You're either low on PS fluid or your belt is slipping because it's raining.

check belt condition, check your tensioner is working reliably, check the pump isnt its elf notchy, and you have adequate ps fluid... also check there isnt an issue with your harmonic dampener coming loose. (ask me how i know)

my pump whines once and a while , but it was repleced last year ill take a look at the belt.

becasue my dampener bolt came loose, damopenenr then proceeded to shear its key, leaving the chain sprocket in a precarious position.... and the main crank pulley able to freely roatate on the crank, but intermittently causing all the dash lights to go on and off and the ps to go light/heavy
