So there are these excellent condition heated memory seats, how do i power them to get them out? without sneaking in a battery of course. i don't even think the car would run.
Any way to defeat this? two leather(black) mint seats for 40$ is just eating away at me, i must acquire these..... haha.
Thanks for any help.:buttrock

Find a car with a good battery while you're in there and drag it over?

some fucktards cut everything they could see under the rear seat/under the hood.
i'm curious as to if there is any way to do this without a battery/not relying on a 'complete' wiring system. if you will.

drag a battery over and tap into the power circuit under the drivers seat. thats what i did...
or if you have a few extensions and a universal you may get lucky and be able to unbolt em just by removing the plastic cover from the side.

Could you use clips to a battery powered drill and use that, I know that you can do that with e28's

Have you tried asking someone who works there? I thought they usually have an extra battery for situations like that...
Easiest would be just tapping power under the seats, just connect brown (ground) and orange/brown wires (driver's seat)to the battery

If you can bring a cordless drill in, you can use it with a long robinson #2 bit and attach it to the motor in the back. If not then you can just use a really long robinson screwdriver and manually move the seat. But that might take you a while.

not sure about the motors but if the terminals are open it is simple electricity, supply 12v's to the terminals and the seat will move one way, if its the wrong way, just reverse the + and - and walla, the seat moves. if you can get to the terminals, well gl with that shit lol

I did this just 2 days a goe. I brought a 6 volt lantern battery and two wires with alligator clips on both ends. Under the front of the seat, you can reach the plug. The two heavier gauge wires are the main power wires. The positive is red(with strips) and the negative is the brown(with stripes). The 6volts moved the seats...slowly but it did. It wasn't that hard.
