I am just curious if the tire edge will be in the same spot when swapping from the stock 15" style 5's to the RC090 17" E39 fitment wheels. They are both running 225's. Also, if that is the case, how much clearance is needed on the 225 to be able to upgrade to a 245 width tire, seeing as a buddy of mine is getting rid of some cheap.
Thanks,
- Jeremy
P.S. I am running spacers in case you are asking why I would be concerned about clearance issues

A 235/45/17 is stock so, I would say that you wouldn't have any issues running a 245/45/17.
Do you know the size of the sidewall on your friend's tires?

Yes I believe they are 245/45/17, which I figured would be the correct size.
Also, does anyone know if the RC090 centercaps fit on the 15's? I tried tossing one on the other day and it didn't seem to want to fit.
Thanks

center caps are not exchangeable, different pattern anyways so it would look dumb
