June 20, 2009: CSP Meet #1

I figured I would steal yod88's thunder and post an official thread.

Rain Policy: If it rains, I am going to assume it's cancelled. No rain date. There will be another CSP (I think) in July.

What: A car meet by the ocean. Catch up with people you haven't seen in a while!
When: Saturday, June 20th, 2009, at 1 pm. Usually everyone leaves by around 4.
Where: Colt State Park, Bristol, RI
The red arrow is where we have traditionally met up. There is a break in the wood fencing that is usually open. Drive on up! If it's closed, then I guess we might have to scrabble around the park to find somewhere to park.

Why: To BS, play some wiffleball or whatever, eat food (BYOM. Bring your own meat (and drink); buns, grill, and condiments will be provided)

I'll definitely be around this weekend for the entire weekend (tif too). We should do some shit before you and anhthy leave for vacation. Preferably moderately cheap shit because I am one broke mothalovah at the moment (car repair + paying for 2 apartments + weddings + other shit = zero dollars). Maybe its time to see if Russ/Julie have the bags setup in their basement?

Er, I was thinking the one next to BBQ sites 1-7, but I am open to any other suggestions. The one next to the bathrooms is probably going to be empty since the weather is going to be rather unstable on Saturday, and is in a better area IMO.

I think there were around 9 - 10 people or so, mostly from RI. It was an OK day out, the wind picked up and it got cold pretty quickly!
