650i Convertible Leaks

I have a 2006 650 convertible. Bought is used recently. Is it common to have water leak around windows? Can I go through a car wash? I would think not?

I would avoid car washes with any convertible.

The top certainly shouldn't leak. I would have it repaired. Many times water can intrude and damage places you can't see until the damage is done.

I can blast my convertible with a garden hose along the windows and not a drop gets in.

If the car has less than 50,000 take to BMW and they will do the work for free. Even if it has over 50,000 they will probably do for free through their good will program
