Sorry, im sure i could have found alot of these if i did more research but i gotta move quick on this so here comes a bunch of dumb questions?
1) Would the front doors of a 1990 750il be compatible with a 91 535I?
If the doors are the same dimensions, are the electroniics compatable enough to make it worth the effort?
2) How about the hoods of the same two cars?
3) I have a car with non-memory seats, can i put memory seats in it or are the electronics too different?
4) How difficult is it to remove the seats from a car that has no electric? Can you get at the bolts? Is there some trick i should know?
5) Last and least, does the front bumper rubber strip ( guess that is what it t is called, The leading edge of the bumper) just pry off? Are there tabs or something i need to be careful of? Is this stuff the same on the e32 and e34?
Sorry for so much but if i don't do this first thing in the mornig those cars will be stripped.

Oh My, my... my
Ummm.... I am going to hazard an answer to most of your questions here with the preface that they are entirely different models - particularly in dimensions.
So..... NO. You cannot cross over the parts you asked about.

I am pretty sure the doors and hood will NOT work on an E34. The bumper strips pry off, they are not really that sensitive. It may be difficult to get at the bolts on the seats without the ability to move the seat back and forth.

The only parts you listed that MAY fit are the seats. The rest... no bueno.

Uh... Its an E32. What would make you think the panels would work?

i've always been under the impression that they were the same except the rearend was stretched on the e32, the front end was more or less the same. Just an impression though.
wikipedia says they are very similar and share " many" of the same parts, so why not?

#1 ,2 and 5 I don't think so, but I could be wrong. #3 has been done but I think it was e34 to e34, #4 you might be able to unbolt them if you can get the correct socket or wrench, (the tool is actually a torx socket, but a 7/16 or 11mm 12 point wrench or socket will work as well) under the rear of the seats(if they are at their farthest position back) but getting them to tilt forward enough to unhook the front might be difficult. Depending on the position of the seat back they might hit the headliner before moving forward enough to disengage the front hooks. If you have access to a jumper box then power up the car and see if the seats move. It would be a good idea anyway to make sure they work before going through all the trouble to remove them and then find out they don't work. BTW you can rewire just about anything, but is it really worth all the trouble? You would probably be better off finding a different donor car and get the right stuff.
Good luck.

There is also an e34 but the e32 is the right color...which would be nice. Who wants to drive a black beemer with a green door i ask you.

I know but these things rarely pop up and to catch the yard with a fresh one is even rarer.

No.
If the doors are the same dimensions, are the electroniics compatable enough to make it worth the effort? They are not the same dimensions. The electronics (windows and locks) are probably compatible. Check RealOEM for part numbers.
2) How about the hoods of the same two cars?
:confused
Srsly?
3) I have a car with non-memory seats, can i put memory seats in it or are the electronics too different? This has been covered. Search. IIRC it can be done but you need to dig up some plug from under the carpet.
4) How difficult is it to remove the seats from a car that has no electric? Can you get at the bolts? Is there some trick i should know?Depends on how the seats are stuck. Could be impossible. However, a 12V battery hooked up to the two main wires on the seat plug will move it. That's how I got my pulled seats into a comfortable position for use as desk chairs.
5) Last and least, does the front bumper rubber strip ( guess that is what it t is called, The leading edge of the bumper) just pry off? Are there tabs or something i need to be careful of? Is this stuff the same on the e32 and e34?Not the same.
One major part that IS compatible is the rear diff. Some 750's came with LSD's which are in (relatively) high demand by M60 owners.

I think E24 hoods amd doors are the same as an E34, they both have a 4 in the chassis model.
Some say it is an upgrade worth two tenths in the quarter.

I thought stickers neatly arranged at the leading edge of the front doors were worth two tenths?

Orry research only shows a tenth. The E24 parts help to cheat the wind a little more.

thanks Morosa,(and everyone else), those were the solid answers i was looking for. So...I want those seats, i can get a 12v battery, where are the two main wire on the seat plug? Do you remember what color they are?
Are you saying that i find the plug under the carpet and i too will have memory seats? thanks for any help.

Humans and apes are something like 99% DNA compatible, you ever heard of ape transplants? Just because something is similar it doesn't make it the same. That's the nature of the word.

Dude, those seats aren't going to work without cutting the harnesses on both cars and splicing it in. Even then, they'll be slightly wider than the e34 seats, by an inch or something. Fitment may be an issue. Grab the diff, grab the rear headrests, and grab the rear center console if it's got a glovebox model. Other than that, let it go.

7 series seats fit fine - the only thing different is maybe the plastic covers on the lower sides. I reused my 5 series side covers and they popped right in.

They are a thicker red and brown wire (on the seat side, not sure what on the car side) in the main plug, under the seat in the front. I don't know how much power the motors draw, but I bet you could get away with something smaller than a car battery.
Are you saying that i find the plug under the carpet and i too will have memory seats? thanks for any help.I seem to remember that, but don't take my word for it. Search.

The seats are coming out of an e34. The body panels were what i wanted on the 7, and i have given up on that.
Took the two torx bolts outta the back of the passenger seat in my car. Seat now rocks but isn't popping out. Am i missing something here.

Push it all the way back. Up front there are two clips shaped like a hooked finger that hold the seats in the floor. Push the seat forward off of those then take it out through the back door.

E32 fronts have wider seatbacks than E34 cars, meaning that the arm rests will rub against the center console unless the rear of the seat is up along with the arm rest.
I don't like the arm rests and don't use them, so it's not an issue for me, but it gets annoying when I have a passenger who uses the arm rest, adjusts the seat down and the thing starts to squeak against the center console.

If this is the car that does not have power just push the seat forward. If its your running car then push the seat back with the button and then push the entire seat forward.

Are there bolts in the front or just the two in the read?
Check out the parts cars section of the bfc as well. While you won't have a lot of compatibility in the parts you speak of, maybe take some upgrades from the E32 for your E34.
I would be kind of funny to rig E32 doors and hood on an E34 :shifty

Do you not see the clips up front? They are in the same tracks that you took the bolts out of. Just need to push forward. I did it by sitting in the back seat, putting my feet near the rails at the bottom of the seat, and pushing like he**.

im retarded, i got it thanks man.
Do you remember what kind of wrench you usedf to disconnect the seat beat? 11mm star box end i am assuming...which i don't have of course.

i got the seat out, i recconnected the power, slid the seat back and it all became obvious, now i gotta get that seat belt off. this is just my dry run, i gotta do twice tommorrow in the heat.
I see the seat power wires. Do you guys think a big brick sized 6 volt will give me enough juice to move those seats at the yard?
well, i vote that it will work, ill let you know tommorrow.

If the diff is a 3.15 LSD,pull it and I'll give you $103 for it.

6 volt no, 2 X 6 Volt in series maybe yes. I.E.
connect the negative of one 6V battery to the positive of another and then use the remaining positive and negative terminals from your series battery to make 12V to the circuit.
Those seat motors will draw quite a current though, I'm guessing 3-5 amps. GL

6 volt lantern battery does move the seats. alligator clamp jumped it directly to the power wires under the seat and all the controls worked... very slowly, about quarter speed but they worked.
