After over a year (!), the film from the european delivery of my Montego Blue 135i has been edited and posted online. It's 23 mins and absolutely hilarious.

There are two versions, the full version, with some NSFW language, and the edited version which isn't as funny but SFW. Watch it in HD if you can.

I originally wrote about the trip, with pics, here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=214957.

They bought the car, right?
What are the costs would be to ship the car to USA from Europe?

Not only is the European Delivery program "free" including shipping of the car back to North America, but the program includes around a 5-7% DISCOUNT on your car's MSRP. It's like getting a free European vacation with your car!

WOW! GREAT video!! Love the photos and the editing as well as the great choice of music. Anyone who is wondering whether they should or shouldn't do European Delivery should watch this video and definitely choose ED.

edit* any chance of a downloable link?

So i swear i heard someone say it ends up being more for euro delivery. Is there truly less off the msrp then usa and free delivery back to usa? I understand that hotel and gas would be expensive but thats worth it as long as the msrp is lower and delivery is free! Like the icjefferys said its a euro vacation with your new BMW!

Hey guys--I shot this video. Thanks for the comments! Yes, the trip ends up as free as long as you watch your spending, hunt for a cheap flight... all that jazz. Gas was about $100 US per tank when we were there. It wasn't bad split between four people, but solo or as a pair it would have been pretty rough... but still worth it!

The more expensive your car, the more you save. In fact, at the final page of bmwusa.com 's build-your-own section, you can click on "European Delivery" and see how much of a discount you would get for that car! I just built a stripper 128i and it says that $2060.00 would be taken off the car for ED. And no, that's not actually off MSRP but off whatever price you wheel and deal for with the dealer! :eyecrazy So it's pretty awesome.

Due to popular demand, I've made the two videos open for download on vimeo. Just go to the videos' vimeo pages and scroll down to the bottom-right. They're a touch under 500 mb in 720p.

Does BMW offer the same program for used cars?

Say for instance, I wanted to go through BMW Germany to purchase an Individual E46 M3. Would they provide free shipping to the US? I don't think there would be a need for the discounts on pricing if that were even an option:D

Dang, I hope it isn't just for the newer cars. Oh, and the E46 M3 was just used as an example, I have something much better in mind and it comes from the 90's:D

i wanted this option on my 335xi, but i could have sworn it was an additional fee. So how does it work? You just buy your airline ticket and they take care of everything else? How long were you there? Did they pay for everything but airline ticket? I still havent bought mine lol it why im so curious.

The European Delivery program is free. If the dealer wants an extra fee themselves for doing more paperwork, then fine, but it really shouldn't be much and should only be a small dent in the huge discount you're getting on the car through the program.

You have to pay for your flight and hotels and everything while there, just like a regular vacation. The only thing for "free" about traveling is that you don't have to rent a car! We were there 9 days or so. If you want to be lazy, BMW will arrange a flight and hotels for you, but you will have to pay for them.
