525it speaker upgrade question

Got question. Had some speaker laying around the house so I'm swapping them in. But the driver side speaker has 2 set of connections. Which ones do I use? Both work but not sure if one set is the proper one to use.

The extra connection is for the cell phone.

they re different sizes. you can;t connect them backwards... and if you did it wouldn't make any difference.
