True that

Amen mang. VIP is huge wheels, crazy amounts of camber, slammed, tucked, tinted, accented with chrome, and generally exaggerated.
[VIP] is utterly retarded
While I would never make any of my cars VIP ,or "bippu," I can respect the purported origins of the style. Supposedly yakuza gangsters in Japan who preferred luxurious European sedans were an easy target for the police, so to fly under the radar they pimped out Japanese Domestic cars, combining style (keep in mind that's a relative term), comfort and stealth. It's sort of like an extreme direction of aesthetic modding.

The "pimping out" also included performance engine mods... I wouldn't VIP Style my e39, But if I keep it, my E32 will be...

Ok here it is. I agree it needs a drop but not TOO much. The tint is DEFINATELY VIP and the whhels match the car well. No engine mods needed (even though the owner may have some) since its not done to race. Otherwise a good detail, older M5 lights, and it would be set.

I know its an LS400... I was being sarcastic. I've driven every single Lexus there is, and the only one that managed to put a smile on my face was an IS-F. Everything else is for people who are about to die and do not want to experience any emotions that might shorten their stay here on earth.

I wouldn't call it a joke. If you ever get to look at a TRUE VIP car, they are really heavily appointed in the interior.. Puts me in the mind of a highline 7 series. I'm not into the body kits on some of them, but the stance, high quality wheel, performance mods and interior mods are something to be respect IMO...
But of course, thats why there are so many "scenes". I think (and this is about like :deadhorse: ) But alot of Bimmer drivers have an air that their so called mods are the only acceptable ones. IMO, modding is making a personal statement with the style I choose for my auto, not making my standard model car look like an "M" Replica w/o the performance... The VIP world is just that. There is an overall tone to the cars, but many of the mods are quite unique and truly "one off"

Just FYI, those two slammed Toyota's aren't Camrys. LS400, otherwise known as the Celsior in Japan. Not even close.
If you're gonna mock someone do it right. LoL.
But hey, that E39 isn't that bad. I wouldn't run those wheels, but the rest of the car is clean. Almost makes me what to forget Shadowline and add more chrome. Haha.

lol......i traded my VIP for an M3 and now a 540i. VIP cost alot of $$$ if u do it right, at least it was like that few years back when i was doin it. But now the used Lexus are so inexpensive, u see a bunch of young kids riding in FAKE RICER VIP.....:confused Just like the used bimmers are becoming so cheap, that there a bunch of rice out E39s running around everywhere & thinking their bimmers are on top of the food chain :rolleyes
BTW, Toyota factory team is doin pretty good this year in F1, Williams Toyota ain't bad either. They r both kicking BMW's ass. Actually everyone is kicking BMW's ass this year.
