I am so confused bf.c,
Some people are telling me that I am OK running the OEM bolts with my 5mm Spacers, and some people are saying get the longer wheel bolts.
Please let me know what I can safely run.
Thanks,
Calvin

5mm isn't the most extreme spacer, true. But my experience on the track and seeing cars loose a wheel at speed in a corner demands the respect of at least trying to get the longest bolt/the most threads possible to avoid this hazardous situation.
Even when I sold upgraded wheel/tire packages, we frowned upon anything but the "correct" offset, thus avoiding spacers, but even the biggest companies (MHT, DUB, HRE, etc.) sent them WITH their extreme fitments. Mercedes fitments are a big one with their caliper and suspension arm clearances...this for a car that has different size bolts to use with the spare tire straight from the factory!

Technically you can run OEM wheel bolts on up to 5mm spacers, however I personally prefer to use longer wheel bolts for anything over 2mm. It really comes down to a personal preference, but I go the route of longer wheel bolts.
We have a selection of wheel bolts available here on the website:

+1 on ECS's spec. The longer bolt length would make me happier for YOUR safety, even with the small spacer. It's not expensive, either. Don't pay the $50 price I see some eBayers charging for their sets. $20-30 is just right.
