The M5 you've bought really does sound like an awesome find/buy indeed! It's very very rare to find a low miler BMW that's usually in such demand! Without wanting to sound negative - just hope it's a genuine mileage and looked after car!

Please get busy with yer snapper (no sniggering in the back!) and get some pictures up asap ! that's almost a standard requirement for a new poster/member here!

We all would like to see and congratulate you and some of us, will of course be very envious!

one of the first things i was going to do was to get new headlights. this car ran me back around 26k

26k is alot, but you did get a very very clean m5, i guess its worth it as long as you have the funds and the car has been taken of, as it seems it has been. Time to come to a couple of meets ( Search Fort Lee NJ )

i did pay hansomely for it, but its soooo rare to find that car in that color with that many miles in that condition. so i weighed it out and decided it was worth it :)

Those headlights are fairly rare... I think only year they were offered exactly like that. :)

Few improvements could be made to that one. Agreed on the drop - it is perfect. Keep those headlights.

The only change I'd make is to put in the original grille.

but in other news thats a really nice M5 you got there, I love that color. thought it was le mans blue but guess its avus, either color is beautiful and looks great on E39s. any plans for her yet? what all did your car come with, does it have the alcantara headliner?
