I have a couple things for sale that I am getting ready to list on ebay but thought I would offer them here first in case anybody wanted them.

First, I have an excellent condition Alpine PDX4.100. I am the original owner and I've had it about 1 1/2 years. It works perfectly and is in excellent, practically new condition. I have the original box, manual and all accessories including the speaker wire connectors. The MSRP is $550.00.

It will do:

4 x 100wrms @ 4Ohms
4 x 100wrms @ 2Ohms
2 x 200wrms @ 4Ohms

Here's a link to the rest of the specs:

I'm asking $195.00 + actual UPS ground shipping. It's going to be removed next week but if you want it I will remove it and ship it right away.

I also have a set of Rainbow Audio Soundline SLC230 component speakers. These are excellent audiophile quality 5 1/4" two way component speakers with crossovers. They too work perfectly and are in excellent condition. I have the original box, manual and all accessories including the tweeter cups. They are also about 2 years old and I bought them new for $250.00. I used them for about 6 months and then upgraded to a $650.00 set of Rainbow Profi Vanadiums. They are one of the best speakers you can buy for the money. Here's a link to the specs.

I don't have any pictures handy, but if anybody is interested I'll be happy to post them tomorrow. Just let me know

If nobody's interested I'm going to list them on ebay this weekend. Thanks for looking

I can't waste your time: I'm not in a position to purchase any of your hardware, unfortunately.

Did you ever post up a review of that PDX? I'm really intrigued by how small they are: is their sound worthy?

Sorry, but I am not familiar enought with the e36 to promise that they will be a direct fit. MOST installations in the e36 require some custom fitting. It is also a 2way system where your stock is a 3 way, I believe. In my Z3 I disconnected the midrange door speakers and put the tweeters in their place. They were a great fit. The woofers were a direct, drop in replacement in the kick panels and I THINK it's the same in the e36.

Sorry, but I'm just selling my old speakers. You'll have to do your own research to see if it's a project you want to tackle. I don't know what your knowledge level is so I'll also point out that the amp is not a direct plug in replacement either. There is no such thing for a factory system.

These will give you a great upgrade, but it is still a custom install. If you are still interested in them please PM me and I will be happy to send you more pictures of the speakers and amp.

What I can promise you is that all the equipment is in excellent condition. If you look hard enough at the amp you can probably find some minor scratches, but you would have to look for them.

I can cut in the tweeters to the factor mounts as long as the 5 /14 will fit and not be too deep I will take both amp and speakers

Actually, I bought all my Rainbows through premier-audio.com but they appear to be out of business. It appears that Woofersetc.com is now an authorized dealer for Rainbow. I've never been a big fan of Woofers, but their prices look about the same as Premier's.

I am replacing my Profi's with Hybrid Audio L61-2Pros. I have them installed far enough to listen and they sound fantastic. My goal is to run Zapco DCRef amps, but that won't happen for a while. Right now I just need more headroom for the L6s so I'm going to get a couple Blaupunkt Velocity VA2100 and bridge one each for the L6s. The rest of the money goes into the DCRef fund.

Both items are sold. Thanks to everyone for looking.
