Hood Finally Here

So after like a lifetime of waiting my hood is fianally here. Watchu guys think?

Im thinking of cutting the tabs of a roundel and super glueing it to the hood as I dont want to drill into it.:(

Looks good....Id drill though the hood to mount the emblem, just take your time, tape it off and make a pilot hole first.

where did you get the hood from that fitment kinda of sucks bad... theres a huge gap on inside and the carbonfiber front grills dont look imo change the grills so that they stand out more

Def cosign the grill swap... That thing on it now does not look good IMHO.

And do the Roundel correctly, or you'll be replacing them monthly.

I know I tried fitting the old grill but I need to shave a little of them to make em fit.

The gap sucks, but all CF hoods Ive seen dont quite match up that great theres always some gap.
I can live with it tho. Beats my old hood wiv the dent in it. lol

i would use 3m double sided tape, NO SUPER GLUE if you REALLY want the emblem. im not a fan of the grills though. i'd go black

Where did you get the black trim for the door and rear bumpers? Do you have the stock rear bumper? I am trying to get the molding for the rear stock 540 bumper.

Sorry dont have the rear bummper got it like that from the last owner.

You can get a rear m-tec kinda cheap these days. Check out DDM Tuning:buttrock

I don't like exterior cf on bmw's personally.

Any reason you went for a hood instead of some decent wheels.

My original hood was dented thanks to the almighty fan clutch going out. Went around for a place to fix it and they all said Ill need a new hood cause it was stretched in the part it was dented. So I did the math and it was cheaper to get a CF hood than to buy one and get it painted.:(

Plus I can always paint it if the look starts to grow old on me, and I just shaved some pounds off the old girl.:buttrock

Wheels are coming up though, Just need to save up for them, that dented hood just aggravated me everytime I walked to the car.:dunno
