I'm shopping for custom rims for my 2006 M Roadster. There seems to be a limited selection in 18" with more options available in 19". I love the way the stock sizes perform, their ride quality and do not run on a track. What is your experience in the difference in ride quality between the stock 18" size and the appropriate 19" size? Is the 19" size with a lower profile tire going to produce a much harsher ride?

The more tire you have the better for comfort. But honestly after going from 19 to 17 its still a little stiff but i do have a lowered car with stiff suspension but its a big improvement, the car drove almost like shit with the 19's and thin tires.

I tried 19" on my dinan suspension, and it sucked harshly. Just going down to 18" made a nice imorovement. Of course, my car OEM is 15".:(
