That's the "chime" for the lights on/door open with key in ignition.

IIRC it's also used for:

- OBC "memo" function
- OBC "temp warning" function (beeps when exterior temp drops below 35*F)

There's unused pins on there that can be retrofitted things like oil pressure warning, engine overtemp warning, etc.

Really? Can you elaborate? I always just assumed it was an ordinary speaker requiring an audio signal to drive it. What is it capable of?

Here's how it works:

[+] = +12V Input
[-] = GND
T1 = Short low-pitched "blip, blip, blip"
T2 = Long low-pitched "bing, bing, bing" (seatbelt chime)
T3 = Continuous low-pitched "beeeeeeee"
T4 = Continuous high-pitched "beeeeeeee"
T5 = No connection (?)

The T1..T5 are active low (grounded) to enable.
