just got my car..came with carbonfiber cai.. (help!)

so i bought my car about a week ago, it is a 1995 m3. The guy i purchased it from gave me a dinan cold air intake but i can't seen to fit the intake in to the sleeve connected to the intake manifold. i'm not sure if i'm missing a piece or what but the CAI is about an inch bigger than the rubber sleeve that i have to fit it into. what should i do??? anybody else have this problem???

i think he got a 3.5" CAI. you'll have to get an adapter to let it fit.

you could also get a High flow mass air flow from the 540i for your car, it really improves airflow and performance.. and it's 3.5 inch
