I have a ticking noise coming from my left front tire area. Noise only while the car is moving. The ticking speed increases as the car speed increases. It stops immediately when the brakes are applied. Any ideas??

Honestly people, if you dont have anything positive to post, why spend the trouble to just be a arsehole. And if your not trying to be one then read the whole post before commenting.

Can you feel it also, or is it just a sound. How do your rotor and pads look? make sure nothing is hung up on the rotor fins. Have you pulled the tire to look at it yet? If not, start there. Yesterday as I was cleaning my wheels I noticed that an anti-rattle clip came off sometime in the last week, didnt make it rattle or click, but you get the point

perhaps the ticking is similar to the beginning signs of a bad wheel bearing. not usually a ticking sound but could be.

on the 6 cyl 3 series the ticking was due to a purge valve attached to the shock tower ... it was totally normal.. see if that's the case for you too http://jackassofalltrades.com/ticker.html
nvm i re-read again and i should have taken emphasis on the car moving part
