Something I've noticed about my car

is that when i turn the wheel all the way any either direction and continue to apply pressure to the wheel my engine revs a little weird. what's up with that?

you're forcing your powersteering and pulls a little extra power from the engine

your engine compensating for the draw of power the power steering pump is asking for in order to get the power to turn the wheels.

Yes its normal for most cars to do this slightly.

This. I would recomend not turning your wheel all the way like that for this very reason. stop turning right before you hit that point.

ill bet that you hear buzzing coming from the ps too...
