I am disassembling the DME based on the instructions here:

I've moved the white pin and all that jazz and now I'm at step 6B... I'm not sure why these tabs do no remove, not sure how exactly. What I've been doing is bending the tabs inward like the instructions say to but I'm getting no results. Is there some secret they wanted me to figure out on my own I've been at this for at least an hour!?!?!?
