Yes, I have done it, but you'll need pullers to do it and maybe either remove the radiator or drop the compressor off it's mount to gain access.

Price both the clutch and a new compressor/w clutch, sometimes they are only $100 apart.

yep, I have also taken my whole compressor apart and changed all of the seals/o-rings on the casings of the compressor. Works like a champ now. Rebuild kit was 58 dollars at carquest
