Besides the cam timing kit that's available on Fleabay (cam holders, flywheel holder and chain tensioner), have you guys used the special inverted Torx socket or a standard inverted Torx socket will do?
Need to remove the heads on my M60B30 to look for bad head gasket(s). I have no oil/water mix but cars overheats after new pump, radiator, thermostat, valley gasket (new intake manifold gaskets, PCV, knock sensors, plugs, oil and air filters also replaced).
If someone has it and wants to part with it let me know.

Standard inverted torx will work but it may need to be on the slimmer side. i know snap on inverted torx worked for me.

I'd take it to a shop and have them sniff the coolant for hydrocarbons before I pulled my engine apart.

just changed my own valve cover gaskets this past week, no biggie
as far as getting to that point, a 10mm socket & wrench will do
after that, you're on your own. ;) like bin said, take it to a shop to be sure!
