E91 Trunk 12V cigarette (AUX) socket constant power?

I can understand that it won't be juiced without the key fob inserted, however it's not juiced at all unless the engine is on! Found this the hard way going car camping and trying to inflate a mattress -- I thought I had blown a fuse or my 12V inflator was kaput. :rolleyes

You don't need the engine on I believe, you can just have the ignition in position 2 (Press twice without depressing clutch).

Is there any way to easily run a wire to this rear socket to have constant power? I need one for our ARB fridge.
