Well, I'm thinking of taking the plunge unexpectedly!

Saturday my truck was parked on the street and a lady in a Lexus tailended it.... hit it hard enough to flip it over and she still travelled two more lots and totalled a Honda CRv. The interesting thing was that she was in a SUV and my truck was a Tundra double-cab - she must have been flying!

Anyway, I'm torn between buying a 2008 328i with 10k miles (dealer loaner) and an older 330...

Any recommendations? They have similar options so it comes down to: newer car less engine vs. slightly older car with more power. Most of my driving is freeway commute.

Drive both and decide from there. 2008 obviously has warranty and maintenance remaining on it. There are some good deals to be had out there right now, just do your shopping.

BTW, did the lady in the Lex live? Must have been a serious drunk or 120 years old.

I'd lean towards the smokin' deals on '06 CPO'd cars now. 0.9% financing is hard to beat.

NOT A SCRATCH! All the airbags deployed - the impact knocked the passenger-side transaxle off the vehicle...

The police did a breathalizer test - she blew 0.0 - i think she was on the cell phone.

If the rates are good, I would inch towards an 08 mainly for warranty. If you find a 06 CPO that suits your needs then by all means go for it.

Last time a woman driver took out the small utility box outside of my house. Her little accident took out the phone line, power, and cable for a few hours. According to the police she was trying to hit a mosquito that is near her leg when the accident occured.
