Does anybody know if the stock rims from a 95 M3 will fit on an E24 1977 630CSi? My friend is getting one, and he might want my stock rims.
Thanks,
David

Wrong offset. As a general rule of thumb, 5, 6, 7, and 8 series rims are all interchangeable, and 3 series are not.

Fast6 is correct...as a general rule. If you are not going to track the car, though, the M3 wheels should fit on the 6er with spacers. I looked into this for my 6er when I wanted to swap wheels between the E24 and the E36. E36 wheels on the E24 was OK with spacers, but of course going the other way was out of the question since you'd need "negative spacers". I decided the low-rider look with the wheels sticking way out was not for me, so did not do the swap.

Spacers should be fine for the occasional high speed (100+) freeway sprint or run through your favorite twisties, but not advisable for the track or autocross. You probably need at least 20mm spacers to make the fit right. I think mesaperformance.com and turnermotorsports.com both sell spacers from H&R...Good luck...
