It makes sense! I mean when you raise the bar on the Z4 you have to bring in a new segment. I love the looks of this car and the new Z4 for that matter, I think it will sell well. Hell the price will probably be lower then that of the last Z4 and if were all really lucky we may get that amazing 4 cylinder they have in Germany!

Did anyone ever see Tommy Boy? In business if your not growing you're dieing!

I'm not liking it. It looks too much like Benz's small SL roadster.

A Z4 is a nice little roadster but this think is a miata...total chick car.

Makes sense in a non-crappy economy. The Z3 was originally poised as an "upscale" miata, hence the m44 powered versions. As they went to 6 cyl only cars, and on to the Z4, it moved to "under boxster" level to "direct boxster competitor". Now it's a 50k car and they sell 20 a month. The Z2 makes sense if they really want to get back into the roadster market.

That being said, I'm not holding my breath. I'm also laughing my ass off at the "2200 lb" claim. Maybe 3200.

2200 lbs in even an m44(with some small FI system) would be badass. Revvin 9k in a lotus roadster would be badass...

That looks great. Hopefully they will give it some sort of m variant.
Whats wrong with the wheels and ride height? The wheels look good on it and the height looks to be somewhere around 4.5 inches (based on 17/18 inch rim).
