Any Clearwater/Tampa members?

Well, I'm going to be moving to Clearwater FL, USA, late this year, tentatively late september. I'm planning on taking the E34 with me if nothing comes up, so I figured I'd see if I'm gonna have any BimmerForumers down there with me.

So post it up, who's in the area?

Tamparacing.com for DE events.
BMW CCA runs an Auto X every month. So does tnhe Miata, vette and PCA.
There also are Drivers schools at Sebring about every other month.

I have a e34 and am in the Tampa area. Run the driving events. e34 is the standy car. Also run a 328ti.

I don't have a date yet, but school starts December 11th, so it'll have to be a little while before that. I was thinking about going down 6 months in advance so I could get in-state, but the tuition's the same, so I'm gonna try and get a better job here, and save up as much as possible. I don't want to have to work while I'm down there.

there are quite a few TI cars down here. We have one that has a metric motors stroked engine. With all the Dinan stuff. And a 318 is with the Downing? Supercharger.
Plus 2 other TI cars the come out to the Auto Xs from time to time . there also is a TI in Orlando that runs Sebring all the times Its a gutted track car.

I'm in Clearwater, so is my friend who owns a 1992 525i, I got a e34 535i 1990. I get out during the weekends, and i'm signed up at tamparacing.com, but I've only been to one event with them. I just happen to have a friend who has a BMW and we already hang out all the time anyway.

I go to USF TAMPA, and today is my last day of freshman year. So I'm free all summer, but you're not showing up till september.

Moved from Tampa to Birmingham about a year and a half ago for work... previously had lived there all my life. Get dialed in with BAM2002 and go out to some of the autocrosses. Tampa/Clearwater is a great area... I can't wait to get back.

im a hr north of clearwater/st.pete/tampa area...sucks where i live,but that area isnt to bad at all
