Search for "BMW 45" on their site. I quote:
Stellar's new BMW45 keyless entry unit wires easily and reliably into your 1975-1991 BMW. Why pay over $300 for a factory alarm when all you want to do is simply lock and unlock your BMW by remote? Stellar's BMW45 offers all of the performance and reliability of a factory keyless entry system and more, at only a fraction of the cost. The BMW 45 allows you to add flashing parking-light confirmation. This will assure you that your BMW has been securely locked.
Stellar's BMW45 allows you remotely lock and unlock your doors at a fraction of the factory price, and for added convenience the accessory button on your BMW45 will work in conjunction with other BMW compatible accessories for remote operation of features like power trunk, remote start, or power windows/convertible top.
Remote Keyless Entry At A Fraction Of The Factory Price
Extra Accessory Output
Microprocessor Controlled
Add Parking Light Or Starter Kill With One Relay!
Made In The USA
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Personally, I've always found that the risk of electrical glitches such a system brings is NOT worth the convenience factor. It seems like half the people I know who have had this sort of thing tacked on have wound up seriously regretting it.
On the plus side, it doesn't look like it requires much (any?) rewiring so at least you could remove it and sell it on ebay if it sucks. :)

So do you just want keyless? Because it's not going to protect your car....which is why it's only $90. I would go buy a real alarm...if properly installed, there will be no problems and it will give you protection and keyless. Most shops should be able to get you a basic alarm with keyless pretty cheap. "B-LO" doesn't really indicate a geographical location to me....otherwise I would reco a shop.

Buffalo.....Daryls Car Audio is a decent shop.....and Mr C's is ok too...but Mr C doesn't carry a whole lot of alarms. Also, I just realized you have an '89....the plug and play harness for the BavAuto set up isn't on your car...you would have to hard wire it anyways.
