View Full Version : E34 rims on E36, need new tires

I have style 7 rims from an E34 on my E36. The offset is 20 on these rims (I believe E36 OEM is 46). So my rim sticks out a bit, and rubs when turning the wheel far (say to park).

The wheels on now are 205/60/15, I am thinking that if I put on 195/60/15 tires, that will pull my tire in a bit, and it won't rub.

Seem plausible? Any advice you may have for me?
Thanks.

You could step the sidewall down a little more also to be safe and go with a 195/55 or roll your fenders.

What does it mean to roll my fenders? The tire rubs in the back (on the wheelwell liner) so I don't think any adjustment to my fenders will help.

so you need spacers then...I'd think
