my car is currently a mid 15's 1/4 mile time. approx 15.4
if i were to get a 75 shot NOS, what could i expect for my new time? with the NOS i would have the equivalent of 275 hp @crank. i am guessing that would put me in the low 14's if not 14 flat? i will be doing this more than likely, and will start saving for a new engine...aka rental car. also, should i get the throttle release(applied @ full open throttle) or the hand switch, which allows me to engage when i want. i am concerned about using the 1st, because of my tendancey to floor it off the line nos in 1st gear is not a good idea, but i would prefer to leave it in D4 and floor it. oh well, lemme know what you guys think...

i'd start with a 50/55 shot and work my way up. If you're planning on going up to 75 shot (if not higher)....i highly recommened looking into a wet system. A dry system is generally regarded to being safe only upto a 75 shot...afterwards is when you start running into risks. I also highly recommend running a WOT (full throttle) activation system. Reduces the risks of detonation since your engine will simply be dumping gas in (helping prevention of leaning out). Also, if you dont want to squeeze in first....you can still floor it with a WOT activated setup. You put a switch in.....so basically...what you'll do is...
-have the switch off
-take off, full throttle
-the instant the car shifts into 2nd...flip the switch
-NOW the nitrous will be sprayed while at WOT...when you're done racing....turn the switch off so even if you floor it....you wont spray anymore. please remember to allow 10-15 mins before each to allow the engine to cool down before respraying. hope this helps man

i heard the NOS kit would be adjustable, so i could set it to any shot up to 75. also, i never thought of that idea, which really solves my problem. i will have a switch installed. also, would i have to do internal work for a wetshot system of 75?you are da man;) thanks saeed.

"adjustable" means it comes with multiple spray nozzles for each shot.
