Will rims from a 2002 330 ci 235/40/18 8.5'' front and 265/35/18 9.5'' rear fit a 1998 328is coupe?

Those are correct tire sizes for a 5 series (E39)
The wheels will fit (assuming they are the correct offset), but those tire sizes are a little too big...
You would want to run sizes:
Front: 225-40-18
Rear: 255-35-18
