I thought this would make an epic thread of pix.

I love graffiti...finding nice graffiti here in Indiana will be a challenge. I'll keep my eyes open.
I'll try to get some pictures in front of some graffiti/murals within the next few days. Hopefully theres some good quality pictures in here.
All in KC....
Different cars pictured....
Most of which leave leave a lot to be desired... I don't remember time of day on most of them, or the direction, but I could drive anyone to each location.. Some of which don't look like the pictures posted anymore due to building renovations in the KC area.

I hear you....but somehow....I've found myself enjoying some of the better artistic efforts out there....NOT the general letters/sigs/tags..or print.
But more so the artsy style like Kesssler and a few others have begun to show.

Makes for a busy background, takes away from the subject too much.
I think more minimalist industrial, or maybe scenic roadway would work.

Not all Graf is gang related....cavemen, egyptians, mayans....all the writings on the wall are considered the graffiti of it's time. Though i am not an advocate of defacing public property i am an admirer of talent! Some of these guys can take a spraycan, markers and brushes and put any well known artist to shame all day! My buddy here gets commisioned by large corporations like Coke, Delta, Motorola, and makes well over 6 figures a year just to do what he loves.
With that being said we understand that you don't get it.....but don't bash it just because you don't know or understand.

There was a new piece put up this weekend in North Beach (SF). My wife told me to turn around and take a picture of it, but it was pretty busy when I was driving by. Would've been a nightmare to try and turn around. I think the artist was even there (It was mural done on a restaurant).
