Hello,

Im new to the forums. I would like to know what kind of tire I can put on my car (BMW 328 Coupe 2008 Sport Suspension 18" wheels) instead of run flats. Currently I have the Bridgestone Potenza Runflats and they are wearing down. I bought this car used with 11,000 miles.

My main concern is ride comfort/noise and tread life.

My tire sizes are:

225/40-18 Front
255/35-18 Rear

Im looking for an all season tire that will work on my standard factory rims.

Also, if I do away with the run-flats, will it interfere with the TPMS? Do I have to take it to a dealer to replace the tires or can any tire shop switch them out for me?

Thanks everyone!

The YOKOHAMA S DRIVE's are great tires for your application. TPMS will work fine.

I run Goodyear Eagle GT on our GTI - nice all season tire - great grip.

Are they ok for all-season? Im looking for something that will last .. I know its contradictory for someone owning a sports coupe .. but I bought this car used and got a great deal ... so Im just looking for a smooth ride and a dependable tire that will give me longer treadlife ... and would allow me to speed on occassion if needed ;)

Yes, the Yokohama's are a great all around tire.

I've stuck tried and true to Toyo, BFGoodrich KDW's are nice but get loud - the Toyo stuck just as well but never had that tire roar
