Well, i finally received my roof racks from Bavarian Autosport...pretty good deal for the load bars and foot. But they sent me all 4 foot, that was for the driver side...only certain people would notice, but I did not bother sending back.
So i mounted the racks, and I knew that it was going to be tall, from looking at other member's racks on the forum. When I put my bike on it, GOOD LORD, it was more than 7' tall!
So i might be selling, I still need to think about it. What do you guys think?

Load-bars are load-bars, they're generally not meant to be visually appealing. If they do what you want them to do - then they're perfect!

Yeah, they work.
I wished they were closer to the roof line.

The rake is sick..TOO SICK, for SF city streets! I should have bought that bumper you were selling a while back. The lip is already cracked. i might have to take it off.

It's a roof rack... how much lower do you think you're going to get it? :confused
Make a deflector for the front, that'll help make it look lower.

Looks no different than mine. A fairing makes it look a ton better and the reduction in wind noise really impressed me.

i agree, roof racks are function>aesthetics. ive seen ppl (not seen on a bimmer yet, mostly VW's) that have a hidden hitch and a bike rack that mounts on that. at least youd make it in and out of parking garages, lol.
they do look better with the wind deflector though. nissan puts them on the trucks, those are some really tall racks.
