Well I recently traded my old 14" wheels for some 15x6 et45 05 civic special edition wheels, but the hub bore on these are 56.1, 1mm too small, and the offset is too high. My question is, what thickness of a wheel spacer would I need to keep it from hitting the E30's strut? I'm thinking 15mm or should I go with a full 25mm? I'm going to get spacers then have them machined to 57.1, couldn't seem to find any 4x100 spacers with 57.1 bore and have an outer 56.1 bore or no bore at all since some of the spacers are studded and honda's don't really use the hub because they have studs I guess? Need help ASAP, I can't get my car on the tow truck to get her fixed w/o wheels on it! Thanks.

Just a thought, but you may want to go to a stud conversion kit, and use conical lug nuts and run a spacer. Also you can open up the Centerbore with a file. 1mm isn't much to take out. You should be fine then, since the wheel-i believe- is lug centric. Meaning that by securing the wheel to the hub, it centers out with the lugs

I'll look into that now, I just need a temporary solution, need to get my car towed 70 miles to my uncles shop, replacing my upper oil pan and other misc things. I already got them machined for $80 total, pretty good deal, going to pick em up tomorrow morning. But I also heard that the hub is the thing that supports the weight of the car, and the lug bolts are just there to hold the wheel on, just found this out today, I would have thought twice before I got myself in this situation. But now I get all the tires I want for free :D
