power loss

Tonight I went to the store to pick up a few things. While I was out my car was running very strange. First of all i noticed on the way to the store that my check engine light was off, which is odd because when i redid my exhaust I removed the o2 sensor. a few minutes later I noticed that check engine light was back on. after that i let off the gas just to coast a little and when i got back on it there just wasn't the usual get up and go. But if you applied the gas a little more it would get a little better but not alot. What do i do?

You took out your o2 sensor? Why?

It was already dead and had no plans to replace it. so that part of the exhaust was replaced when i redid it. Prob stupid, I know.

May want to put an O2 sensor in there.

Sounds like that's what I'm doing this week.
