Confused about Window Regulator + Motor -- I've Lost My Mind

I've had a window regulator and motor sitting in my closet for over 2 years now and I'm confused at which door it will fit to. I could have sworn I bought it to fit my rear-driver door, but the sticker on it says "BMW E34 Front Doors, Left Doors". Here's a picture for clarification -- not sure if anyone could identify it by the way it's constructed:

Wow, that is odd looking, but without a doubt it is for one of the front doors.

Yeah, I just need to find out which door it goes on before (or if) I need to sell it.

I'll go look at my car in few minutes, the back right door panel is missing.

I'm almost certain that is the drivers side front, and it would make sense since the label says "Left doors"

Yep, looks spot on with drivers side front. If you wonder my window moved off its holder and I removed the interior of the door to fix it. Needed more than 2 hands so I'm driving it like this untill I have the help needed.

My front doorpanels are off. I'll check back tomorrow, but I'm fairly certain that the way the gear is positioned, that goes on the right door, probably front.

i'm pretty sure that's a back. It looks too small to be a front IMO

Front Driver = 2
Front Passenger = 1
Rear ? = 1

:rofl I don't want to drill out the rivets on my driver's door just to find out it goes somewhere else. Halp.

I think the reason it is causing controversy is because it is not a stock regulator, so the shape is different. I'm standing by my vote, but you could just pull off your door panels and compare sizes. It is definitely for the drivers side, and I'm almost certain that it is the front.

+1 for left front, I was just repairing mine over the weekend and this looks very very similar. Size is the only thing I cannot really tell from the picture.

I just replaced my front drivers and that definitely doesn't look like it. I found that a front passenger regulator will fit on a rear drivers side, same for the opposite.
