I have a set of almost brand new 05' civic special edition wheels, 15x6 with good tires, and I want to replace the 4x100 14" BBS's with them, all I need is a general idea how much it would cost to machine 1mm off all 4 wheels, thanks.

It seems to vary considerably depending on where you are... I've seen guys here on the forums say anywhere from $20-$50 per wheel from a machine shop

God damn, well I'm going to a place in Berkeley and I told them their shop was open when they were off so maybe they'll hook it up with a nice discount, They shortened a piece for my tranny about 4 times for free, the actual owner, so idk maybe they'll help a kid out, another question I had was the actual hub on the car, how much would that piece cost if I decided to get a new one and is it necessary for me to have the hub on there or can I just use the lugs to keep the tire aligned? Thanks.

I bore wheels for $20 each if there's 4 or 5, $30 for one because of the setup time. It's work, it's machine time and there's a "zero defects" policy so understand why it's that much. You're too far for me though, so perhaps just log onto PracticalMachinist.com (http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/index.php) and ask if anyone in your area could help.

Cool thanks, yea I'd be happy with $20 a wheel, I'll check out the site.
