Not mine, no affiliations

Nice euro M5.

At todays exchange rates: 9500 x 0.80 = $7600 USD (roughly)

I wonder if it has a swapped in 3.8 motor.

Its a 90, and even in Europe the 3.8 didn't exist yet.

Either a swap or the lister used a stock file photo and didn't know the difference. I'm thinking the latter.

It's been for sale for a while there on Kijiji (craigslist for the ROW) so somethings not right. That's a mucho cheap M5 for Canada

wow, thats super cheap for Canada as Zubbie mentioned, I would even let my US spec with Hi mileage go for that low.

Not just your regular E34 with a body kit :rolleyes

As someone who has been looking at all manner of E34s in Western Canada for the last two months, something doesn't feel right here. As Zubbie and others said, that seems to be below market by at least $1000 even in the current market.

I've seen a eurospec 1989 M5 go for $7k in Toronto and it was a decent car. Best way to see it for what it is, is to check it out.

That pic of the engine looks like it came out of a brochure or something, not a pic of the actual motor.

Agreed.. That's a brand new engine!

Far as I can see wrong with the car in the pictures that it has a cracked left smiley and a bunch of chipped paint on the front bumper. Tempting to go check out and get someone to check it over but not sure if I want a M5 to maintain too. Hmmmm.

Yeah,

That motor looks as though it has never even run for 1k let alone 220K

Looks like a stock picture ripped off from a euro M5 site:(

the engine pic is an s38b38, a later model 3.8, as was pointed out many posts up, so it is not likely to be the engine in that actual car, just some stock photo posted up.

+1 - definitely a stock photo of some kind, if not taken intentionally to hide the body panels? :confused fail.

Jeez, is the economy that bad in edmonchuck that it's hard to sell a car like that? I'm coming for a visit in August. Maybe another deal will appear for me by then :D

Well I stand corrected, my spidey senses were apparently wrong. I guess the ecnonomy and demand are at levels where $9K is the necessary price to move it.

If I was already on the ground on BC I would have taken a closer look given this info but it sounds like she's sold.

There's always this silver one in Kelowna; can't vouch for its condition though...

Where are all the east coast M5's. I've seen one for sale here in the last 2 years and the guy wanted $16K!
