I searched, but I can't find anything on this subject. So, I am asking for help from the wheel experts. I want to install X5 sytle 69's on my 95 ///M3 (running Bilsteins / H&R Sports). Here are the stats on the wheels:

18" x 8.5" all around
48mm offset

What size tires should I run without rubbing? What size spacers do I need to run? I did find this thread, but I need more info:

I also sold a part to a member here that has the style 69's on his car in his sig, but I haven't heard back from him: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/member.php?u=102785

Could someone who knows fore sure please get back to me...I am not looking to increase someone's post count with this thread. If I can get the right info, and can make sure that I can run these wheels, I will be purchasing them this afternoon. I don't want to miss out on this deal...so PLEASE, help me out here guys.

TIA...BOB

Look at Tirerack's site and see what offsets are reccomended for your car. You will see 18" with ET in the 35-45 range. At 48 you may want to run spacers. I assume the hub bore is the same. Check that out. Good luck, GH

Do you have any idea how I could find out the hub bore size?

E36 have a 72.56 hub size. Just measure the wheel, in inches down to the 16th and then convert it to mm 1mm = 0.03937" You can pm me if you want to conver it. The best offset for a 18" would be 35mm. I have 13mm hubcentric spacers/longer lug bolts for sale if needed.

EDIT:

those x5 wheels have a center bore of 74.1mm You would want to run a spacer and hubcentric ring to properly run those wheels.
