I'm trying to decide what wheels to use...but I just don't know yet, so many choices :lol I'd love to see what y'all have, I'm partial to later BMW wheels, BBS, Hamann, but open to anything, shooting for 17"

Sure, I'll pimp a few. First and last are mine, others are Tourings I admire.

I'll post up a pic of mine with the 17" BBS RK's today, once I get the rear suspension installed.

How is the wind noise from your roof rack? I love the look, but wind noise on my e30 was annoying after a while.

I liked the M=Pars when I had them:

The wheels that came on my other touring:

Does anyone know what they are?

Greg, those look like a Mercedes-themed wheel, like an AMG or Lorinser. I'll assume they were reps if you couldn't identify them.
I'd love M-pars but don't want to deal with 18" tires. Man they look great!

It can be annoying, the fairing on the front helped eliminate a lot of the whistling, but you pretty much can't use the sunroof at all.
My wife uses the car around town most of the time where the noise isn't as bad. On the freeway it's much worse.
It's off the car at the moment as I really only use it for bikes in the summer, and I take it off before long trips to increase fuel economy and reduce noise.
Once my new garage is set up I'm planning to set up a hoist so I can drop it on in just a few minutes, but since the garage renocation is going slowly this summer it will likely be on full time so I can throw bikes on and just go!

Yup! They were called Mono-Block and there were a number of reps on the market. Kind of looks blasphemous on the E34. It is so MBZ!
