Are you selling? What sort of mileage have you been getting with this setup?
If you still have this this summer I think it would be worth 1800-2k? I really have no idea on these things, or seen one together.

Its damn near impossible to source all these parts and get it together.
I have a fuel leak right now so my mileage isnt that great, but when I initially installed the 3.15 i was getting about 15-18 in town depending on the weight of my foot and ~23 on the highway.

You're very close. My dad is looking to pick up a new car which means, room must be made in the stable at home. The SL's gonna get booted to the driveway if I dont bring it to school.
Im trying to not get too hurt on the incredible and stupid amount of coin I have in this car.
So in some sense. You're right.

Including 3.15 LSD?
These cars are a lot cheaper to buy for scrap these days than they used to be man, it wouldn't surprise me to find out it was $1500 with LSD, sad as that is.

You need to cut your loses and move on! It's not worth what you're going to ask!

sell it as a whole. You'll get more coin. The car has a strong motor according to the dyno.. Not sure about the interior but the fact that this thin dyno'd 268wtq and has no rust would lead me to believe it's worth 4500-5000.

I'll trade you :) Then you wouldn't have to make your car stock to sell it ;)

I might be interested, but I could source everything locally for about $1750... maybe less depending on the circumstances.
I'm planning my swap hopefully soon, but I don't want a 3.15LSD.

I am actually quite content with my autoslushboxfailthingy since I toped of the fluid and it's been running beautifully. But a stick would still be...awsome. Maybe in 5 years when these cars are worth...nothing :) then I'd be owning an old BMW YES!

Assuming your tranny lasts 5 more years. The only reason I'm doing it is b/c my torque converter is almost toast. I do love the autotragic's instant-on ability. I just wish BMW woulda sourced the tranny's from MB instead of GM.
