--- $$$OLD ---
I'm finally getting around to formally posting a FS add for this kit.
I had purchased this kit from Dan (shrike071) back in September, and literally totaled my 540 a few days later.
Kit is currently boxed up and ready to ship. Vinny (Dark Schnitzer) has been holding the kit for me, since it never officially got shipped to me. And now after wrecking my car, it does me no good to keep an ACS kit in my garage. Besides ... it would constantly remind me of that incident... :(
Please keep in mind, the prepping for the original paintwork was very poorly done, and caused some serious delamination of the top coat paint. The rest of the paint simply needs to be sanded off to facilitate primering.
I am by no means an ACS expert, but I do know for a fact these kits are extremely hard to come by anymore. That being said, I am willing to wait for a serious buyer.
I am asking $1200 OBO. PM me if interested.

Its sitting cartons in Springfield Missouri at my shop awaiting drop shipping to the winning buyer.:devillook
Its going on Greyhound to save money and time for the buyer.....which believe me will be the smart choice....that is unless you live in Springfield !;)
This kit was originally never scuffed and primed before it was sprayed. SO...it simply needs to be peeled off, sanded primed and painted.
On a more perfectionist level.....I'd still have the front piece "guide coated" before final spray.
All AC Schnitzer logo embossing is in great shape and not buried in paint. Thats a big plus...rawt thar !:stickoutt
Also...for those of you thinking your going to be able to source these parts "one by one" affordably.....separate shipping alone will blow that deal long before the individual prices would become obviously high too.:nono
Matts a good guy.........work with him and you won't be sorry.
Cheers,Vinny

Is any additional hardware required for the install?

Is any additional hardware required for the install?
Originally...ACS kits were shipped with a baggie of typical auger type sheet metal screws for the inner fenderwell zones, and a few across the lower front cover.
The rest was held tightly in place with thin tolerance 3M double stick body panel tapes.
This can be easily replicated with stainless screws and 3M tapes today.....which is still better yet...in my book.:)
I actually use 2-part epoxy panel adhesive to mount permanently.:evil2

Not a problem Matt. You should have PM'd me about this thread....I just happened upon it.:confused
Although I'm in Socal for the next few years working/traveling.....I have a co-worker back in Mo. that will take the cartons to Greyhound when called.
This Deal, is good to go now. Although Matt and previously...Shrike, had waited eternally for me to get the front cover correctly repaired and ready.
Cheers,Vinny
