I figure that my car is doing pretty well with the original R134a, especially living in Atlanta where cold A/C is a necessity. However the A/C is now lukewarm at best. There is a sticking valve somewhere...I had it on full cold and it was blowing mostly hot air.

Anyways I:
A) need to find that sticky valve and figure out how to unstick it

B) need to get my system topped off. Is there anything that needs to be replaced?

Does anyone else's compressor kick on violently? It's really loud when it engages, and you can feel it. Not subtle at all but the compressor still works.

My compressor does that even though the A/C doesn't work, think its an E34 thing?

And your car has original 134? I never realized 95s had that luxury.

good luck finding R12. A lot of guys here in AR bought up the last of it and from what I know there are 3 guys who sell by the oz. or w/e and it costs a lot! GL though

A) need to find that sticky valve and figure out how to unstick it = You mean the vent flaps are not moving?

B) need to get my system topped off. Is there anything that needs to be replaced? = As long as you are no toally flat or open to the atmosphere, just filler up and I'd add some UV dye too, so you can check for leaks down the road.

Does anyone else's compressor kick on violently? It's really loud when it engages, and you can feel it. Not subtle at all but the compressor still works. = Check your belt and idler pulley

I have two conversions and one original 134a system and they all seem to be holding up to almost daily use.
