Airbag Light - on or off?

I'm not too sure if the light is on or off. It is really dull and according to the dealer it is light from something else that is shining through the edge making it look like it is on. The light looks like it is coming from the left and then getting dimmer as it goes across the back of the airbag sign. If you compare the brightness of the airbag light to the front fog lights there is a world of difference between the two which makes me think either the light is on and the bulb is gone or something has come loose in the display and is on.

Mine does this sometimes because it's been on for years. They should be able to read the code from the SRS computer regardless of the light status.

There are two SRS lights. Your primary light might be burned out or removed.
