Hopefully someone out there can shed som light on my situation.

I have some kind of problem with the vehicle speed signal in the car.

Speedo - works fine.

What does NOT, though are other functions tied to vehicle speed.

Cruise control - will accelerate and coast, but not hold speed.
Wipers - in normal mode, they act like the car is stopped - they dont go back to normal mode when you start moving - they stay on delay
OBC - cant seem to calculate mileage or speed functions.

As such, it seems like the signal is getting from the sensor on the diff to the cluster, but as for these other items - no signal.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cluster isnt sending info around the car. Id look into that if the speedo is for sure working all the time.

exactly - that is way I asked the question - trying to get specifics about what/where to check.

thanks

Ok, well im telling you, its the cluster. If youre getting a constant reading from the differentials speed sensor, then there is no reason for anything else to be faulty. Everything else gets its info from the cluster, which isnt sending out a functional signal anymore, so it needs to replaced.

Thanks.

I'll check all of the connections and what not before I go looking for another to swap in.
