Does anybody make an E34 Widebody kit? I am in the process of repainting my 95 Calypso and would like to do something really different and I would like to put wider tires on the back. I actually am considering a SLIGHT modification to the lip on the rear wheel openings to fit a wider tire. I know how I could do it and I am a body and paint man so I could do it right. I would make a cut along the top of the factory flare and and pull the lip out (probably less than an inch) then fill in the space with metal and refinish and smooth out. It should be pretty subtle and if done right look factory. What do you think?

Already did, a bunch of garbage came up and I got tired of wading through it trying to find what I was looking for. If I am bothering you don't take the time to reply to state the obvious.

so if you think it will look good, and not like poo then might as well try. I am not sure it would look good tho, as it has to match the bumpers and stuff. :dunno that's why I am not a body man

The only wide body kits I see are the ones that are enormously ricey and just make the front and rear bumpers huge. But, I know that users 5nail5mail5 and jcbe34 both have some pretty severely rolled fenders because of one being a wheel whore and the other fitting drag tires. You could try PMing them searching through their started threads.

That could have been said a little nicer bro :rolleyes

On a happier note, when I had my rear fenders rolled I had them stretched as well. No bodywork needed and I can fit 275's no problem. When I compare to my friends stock fenders I can tell a nice difference.

How does one "stretch" the rear fenders?

When they roll your fenders they first heat them with a heat gun. Same method applies but instead of rolling the lip of the fender they roll the upper inside of the fender. Cost me $50 total for both sides!

Do you have any close ups or before and after pics?

Redfive is having SCR make a set of flared arches in metal for the red car.

I actually , by luck, happen to have 4 rear fenders from an F-350 superduty dually, I think with some minor cutting - I may be able to fabricate a bolt on body kit. Although, sublety is in the eye of the beholder. I personally will focus on the performance benefit of these; although their aesthetic pleasingness will come as a bonus.
