Power mirror wiring.

Anyone know what each color does?

There's black, brown, white, and blue. probably safe to assume black is ground....

i'm e30 mirroring my car, and i'm hoping i can just splice, since their wires are the same color, although a different plug.

Brown is usually ground on German cars. Dunno about this case though.

yeah brown would be ground, im guessing the others are a pos, neg, then something for the heated mirror. Try looking in the bently manual

yeah... i thought brown was ground, too... but assumed black.

i wanna say that there's one for up, one for left, and by reversing the polarity on them, it makes them down, and right... if that makes sense.

i just need to figure out which is ground, and i shouldnt wreck anything.

the e30's are the same color, wrong size plug. anyone think it'd be a safe bet to just chop and splice color to color?
