Have a 96 328i and I wanted to know if there is an easy way to tell if the blower motor is bad or if it is just the resistor? Do these resistors go bad and will that cause your blower to not work? I did the self test from the climate control module by unplugging it from the harness as described by one of the rebuilders on-line, and the motor did not run even when I unplugged from the harness as they said it would if the module were bad. I would rather replace what is cheapest , easiest, and only what is actually needed. Advice aprreciated!:)
